Ultra Thin Keyboard Cover for MacBook Air 2020 M1 A2337 - Mint TPU Skin for Work & Travel

I thought this would work on my MacBook. It seems to be slightly off and has a very thick feel. Will not purchase againI will start off that I have the newest 15" macbook pro and though this product has a lot of things off about it, it is okay and I will be keeping it. The first thing I noticed was that the color was not neon. I got the neon yellow cover, but mine is more of a dingy, greenish yellow which isn't unattractive, but not what I expected or wanted. There are a lot of other things that do not match up with the picture given. The cover is a LOT thinner than that in the picture and normally that would be ideal, but since mine is a lighter color, the keys show through and cause the color to look even more dingy. As others have said, some of the symbols do not match the lights underneath. For me, all the letters match up perfectly, but that is it. That really doesn't bother me, though, because I hardly have it dark enough to even tell. Next is that in the picture the color goes all the way to the lip of each key. Mine, however, has a small edge before the color starts. I actually would like this better, except fot the fact that some extra paint has ended up on those edges which really bothers me and makes it look cheaply made. Along with that, some of the keys have either not enough paint in some areas or they were stretched in production. The only thing I can think of to describe it is when you blow up a balloon that has a picture on it and the ink seems to crack and separate. Anyways, it just make the keyboard look dirty when it isn't. Well, whenever I was looking at those spots, I noticed a lot of tiny black smudges all over all the keys. I tried rubbing them off, but that didn't help and I didn't want to stretch it so I gently washed the entire thing with soap and water. That didn't help, but I did end up getting them off by rubbing them with my fingernail. That made me realize that some of them were not black smudges and instead places where paint is actually scratched off. All these things just make my cover look old and dirty when it is brand new! Also, as others have said, on the bottom and top edges there are gaps made between the computer and the cover which cannot be fixed. This bothers me because I feel that this defeats it's purpose. I think that it will do its job in keeping dust and crumbs out, but the only way it could really keep spills out would be if it was spilled in the middle of the keyboard and it did not spread to the sides where it would seep in through the gaps. One last thing that isn't a problem, but just weird, it that for some reason there is a power symbol along with the eject symbol when there should just be the eject symbol. All that said, I will still be keeping this as it will still protect my computer from crumbs and I never drink around my computer so I don't have to worry about that. I would give it three stars because it is such a low price and it does protect my computer for what I need it for, but I am giving it two because there really is so much wrong with the aesthetics and won't protect against spills to the extent that it should. Overall, I think Kuzy could do a lot better.I was pleasantly surprised by how streamlined and strong these covers are, but i haven't had the covers long enough to know if the adhesion is going to hold up over time.The only downside of this thing is that it seems to have stretched out a bit over time so that it doesn't fit perfectly snug against my keyboard anymore. It's like the difference between a pair of jeans fresh from the dryer and the fit after you've warn them for a couple hours. It still works, but it's not snug and I have to readjust it periodically. Still, at the price I paid, I wouldn't mind buying a new one every few months. I get compliments on it ALL THE TIME. And most importantly, it has probably saved me hundreds of dollars in computer repairs. I once spilled a bit of coffee with this thing on and it caught it. Neither spills were large, but they did get the keyboard wet and could have penetrated without the help of this handy device.I used this for a short amount of time time in conjunction with this that I bought together and can say that this keyboard cover does a pretty decent job of covering your entire keypad and keeping people or yourself for that matter from getting the actual keypad from becoming sticky or dust accumulation which can become a real problem down the road that is if your constantly in need of removing the keyboard cover because you just miss the feel and sensation of your fingers pressing down on the keys of your MacBook Pro which as for me I didn't dee myself using this product for any longer than a few months before completely and entirely disowning it as it builds up condensation underneath it makes me yearn for the tactile feedback that the actual keyboard provides which is why I gave this product my 3.0/5 stars. Initially, I was very skeptical about the Kuzy Neon Yellow cover this and other similar product for my new MacBook Air. However, I was sold on this product once I receive it. The product arrived very promptly and without any damage to the outside package. Unlike other products which usually come in a plastic bag, the packaging itself is well design and very "elegant".When I install it onto my MBA's KB, it fit absolutely perfectly. I am very happy with this product.When I first opened the envelope I was pleasantly surprised by the nice packaging. When I opened it, i noticed that the color (I received the yellow, but much like the picture displayed it looks more green) was not as bright and neon colored as depicted in the picture but nonetheless I still like the color. I noticed that there was a tear by the spacebar which is kind of ridiculous since I just put it on. It also looks a little tacky since the color is literally printed on top of the plastic, it kind of looks like stickers on your keys. The cover is also a little more shallow than i expected but it fits the keyboard fine. In addition its incredibly hard to type on it because of the type of plastic that the cover is made out of and you'll be promoting the KUZY brand because its on the spacebar.It is what it is, the cover just lies on top of your keyboard, and after a few minutes of typing you forget that its there. Minor complaint, the letters and the "capslock" indicator light hole do not line up properly with the originals on the key board. The keys dont really matter to me because i normally turn the keylights all the way down anyway. As for the caps lock key, the green indicator light is still visible through the brown surface, so its not a total loss. This product is cool for the price, which is a fraction of what similar products cost at the apple store, if you can bare the mismatched holes. I can.It works as it should. The colour is similar to the listings image — I was hoping it was more green than yellow, and it is. My last one lasted me 4-5 months with heavy use; it's still in a useable condition, it was just slightly stretched out, which I found to be distracting when typing.You cant beat the price. Material is a little cheap to the touch but happy with my purchases none the lessMy daughter bought a similar product from a different company and I like it better . This one is a bit sticky whan you type.Nice added touch to you macbook pro with the colour, decent quality and extra protection from any kind of moisture splashing.
