Sustain Pedal for Keyboard & Piano - Perfect for Home Studio & Live Performances

I got this to use with my electric piano. The piano came with a sustain pedal but it's a little, square pedal that works, but is very basic. This pedal is closer to a pedal on an acoustic piano. I don't have an acoustic piano any more, so I can't do a direct comparison but from memory this is pretty close, much closer than the pedal that was provided by the manufacturer of the electric piano.This pedal will allow the notes to ring out longer, sustain, when the pedal is depressed, just like on a piano. But, there is a "polarity switch" on the side of the pedal that reverses the function. When reversed, the sustain occurs in the pedal's normal position, and when depressed, it dampens the sound....or actually, allows to go to normal. I tested the switch in both positions multiple times to compare, and the two modes are normal and sustain....there is no dampen.Overall, I like this pedal. It works great and is a big improvement over the original pedal.
